About the Author

I have worked in the real estate business since 1972 starting in Cleveland, Ohio.

After graduating with a BS degree in Marketing from Ohio State University, I put a simple two-line ad in the newspaper that said aggressive young college grad seeks a job in the real estate building/development field. I got a response from a builder/developer to assist in his business. That person was Milton Fromson. Milt spent many hours mentoring and helping me understand the business.

Intent on learning as much as I could about the business, I was accepted into the Graduate Real Estate Program at the University of Wisconsin. During this time-period, I was mentored by Professor James A. Graaskamp.

After graduation, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia to begin my career. Over the last thirty plus years, I have been involved as a General Partner in 4000+ apartment units and the construction of over 1,000 single-family homes, condominiums and townhomes.
